New job, new website(s)!

Dear all,

The boy, the cat, and I have made it to the City of Roses! We’ve settled down a bit: bookshelves are in order, the grill in operational, and a weekly evening farmers’ market has been fully incorporated into our weekly routine. As a reprieve from the unpacking and organizing has been a re-design of both my professional portfolio site, as well as this blog, Bite Thumbnails: A Playgoer’s Notebook.

While they both maintain the same URL, they have been redesigned to coordinate with my new home department—Pacific University, the boxer, and brick red—as well as to coordinate with one another. Ideally, this design includes all of the elements aimed at different constituencies but should be easier and more straight-forward to navigate. These include:

  • for current students, course descriptions and links to course websites, as well as materials elaborating my general teaching approach.
  • for researchers, a snapshot of my most recent work as well as my complete CV, if needed. (I’m also on Academia[dot]edu!)
  • for fellow professors, curricular materials using the online web platform Omeka as well as a handbook on best practices in office hours.

Come across any broken or wonky hyperlinks? Anything displaying oddly in your web browser? Do let me know!

‘Til soon,
Elizabeth
